petals on the pathway
The old saying is that April showers bring Mayflowers... you know, boat-loads of illegal immigrants, pilgrims looking for the Promised Land, or at least a promise of land.
"I am a pilgrim," sang Nancy Honeytree, "but not a rambler;
there is a pathway meant just for me.
I only fumble when I won't follow,
I only stumble when I won't see.
Light of Life, shine on my pathway;
Shepherd call me, call me down the road...
I am coming, I am coming,
though I bend beneath my load."
May seeing the flowers of the season turn your heart toward your Helper, and put some spring in your step...

Dad, I had forgotten about this song, and was delighted to realize that I remember it! Thanks for putting a new-old song in my heart today.
